Integration

Integration

JET runs a very successful women's integration project on a Thursday afternoon at the URC Church Hall on Wingrove Road.

If you have any questions about our integration project or would like to join, you can contact:

The dictionary meaning of the word integration is to mix with or join society or a group of people. The essence of this meaning is at the heart of JET's integration project. We work tirelessly to integrate our clients into their life in the United Kingdom. These clients could be new to the UK or may have been living here for a long time.

We familiarise them with services they can use, things they can do and give them the confidence to live a happy life in the UK which is based on the fundamentals of the British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith.
How do we do this?

We believe that integration is a two-way process. We invite various services and organisations like the police, health services, legal services, fitness instructors, well-being professionals to come and talk to our ladies and spend some time explaining the different processes in the UK and help the ladies get the maximum out of their life in the UK.
Our ladies, in return ask questions and raise concerns which are answered leading the way to living in a more integrated society.
In our integration group, we love celebrating life. Our most recent celebration will be us welcoming Ramadan.

Contact us and we will invite you in for a friendly chat so we can identify what kind of help you want from JET and how we can help you to improve your skills and find work
